Using the Greenlee K210 crimping tool is easy. First, select the appropriate die set according to the type and size of the terminal or wire ferrule you're working with. You can store two die sets right in the handles for quick access. There's no need for extra tools to change the dies. Place the terminal or wire ferrule in the crimping area and squeeze the handles. The full - cycle mechanism will ensure a complete crimp, but if you need to stop mid - way, you can open the tool. When it comes to maintenance, keep the tool clean and dry. Check the hardened components regularly for any signs of wear. If you need to replace a die set, the 10873, 10874G, or 10875G sets are available. Also, make sure to use the tool within its specified crimping capacity of 22 - 10 AWG insulated and uninsulated terminals and splices, and 26 - 8 AWG wire ferrules to avoid damage to the tool.
