Product Description

The Makita ML002G 40V max XGT® Cordless L.E.D. Lantern/Flashlight is a highly versatile work - light that offers ultra - bright illumination and unmatched convenience. It comes with three different L.E.D. lighting modes: 360 - degree lantern for wide - area lighting, 180 - degree lantern for focused yet broader illumination, and a flashlight mode for targeting specific tasks or work surfaces. With the efficient 40V max XGT® 4.0Ah Battery (sold separately), you can enjoy long - lasting light. It provides up to 16 hours of continuous light in 360 - degree lantern mode, 29 hours in 180 - degree lantern mode, and an amazing 51 hours in flashlight mode. This lantern/flashlight also has a built - in USB port, allowing you to charge your portable electronic devices on the go. The metal hang hook swivels 360° and can be folded away easily, adding to its practicality. The XGT system, which includes equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers using 40v max lithium - ion batteries, is designed to handle high - demand applications. It features advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability, outperforming the competition. Key features include: different lumen outputs in each mode (710 lumens in 360° lantern mode, 340 lumens in 180° lantern mode, and 130 lumens in flashlight mode), high dust and water resistance with XPT™ for harsh job sites, optimized performance under heavy loads, and protection against overload, over - discharge, and overheating. The XGT® Tools and Batteries have a multi - layer contact interface for constant power delivery, and the batteries have rigid, impact - resistant rails. The XGT® Rapid Charger (not included) has a dual - fan design for fast charging, a digital display to show battery charge level, and a built - in chip for efficient charging. It is compatible with Makita® 40V max XGT® Lithium - Ion Batteries.

Using the Makita ML002G is easy. First, make sure you have a compatible 40V max XGT® battery (sold separately). Insert the battery into the lantern/flashlight. To turn it on, press the power button. You can switch between the 360 - degree lantern, 180 - degree lantern, and flashlight modes by pressing the mode button. If you need to charge your phone or other portable devices, just plug it into the built - in USB port. You can hang the lantern using the metal hang hook, which can swivel 360° and be folded away when not in use. When it comes to maintenance, keep the lantern clean. Wipe it with a dry cloth regularly to remove dust and debris. Avoid using it in extremely wet or dusty conditions as much as possible, but thanks to its XPT™ technology, it can handle some harsh environments. When charging the battery, use the XGT® Rapid Charger (not included). Always make sure to charge the battery in a well - ventilated area. Do not overcharge the battery or use it if it is damaged. If you notice any issues with the lantern's performance, such as reduced brightness or unusual noises, stop using it and contact Makita customer service.
