Using this Makita round die is easy. First, make sure you have the Makita 18V LXT Cordless Metal Hole Punch model XPP01 (which is sold separately). Then, install the 25/32 inches (20 mm) round die quickly and easily onto the punch. When you're ready to punch holes, choose the right metal plate. The die can handle general steel plates with a thickness between 5/64 inches (2 mm) and 5/32 inches (4 mm), and stainless - steel plates from 1/8 inches (3 mm) to 5/32 inches (4 mm). Just place the plate in the right position and use the punch. Remember, always wear safety goggles and gloves when operating the tool. For maintenance, after each use, clean the die with a dry cloth to remove any metal shavings. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice any damage or wear, replace the die promptly to ensure good performance.
