Using the Milwaukee M12™ Pipeline Locator is easy. First, make sure the M12™ REDLITHIUM battery is fully charged and inserted correctly. When you start the locator, look for the directional arrow on the 4.3” color LCD display. It will point you towards the sonde. As you get closer, the sonde icon will appear on the screen to confirm the exact location. You can switch between different locating modes using the onboard controls. For line tracing, the compass icon will follow the energized line. When using it outdoors, take advantage of the sunlight - readable screen. Remember, this locator is IP65 rated, but try to avoid extreme conditions as much as possible. For maintenance, regularly check the battery's charge level.
