Using this Milwaukee pipe threading kit is easy. First, charge the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC8.0 Batteries with the M18™ & M12™ Rapid Charger. Then, attach the appropriate die head according to the pipe size you're working with. Place the pipe in the threading position and use the support arm to hold the tool steady. Start the threading process using the trigger switch. When starting threads, use the side grip to avoid touching the spinning die head. Note that the AUTOSTOP™ technology will automatically shut off the tool if it senses severe kickback, so don't be alarmed. For maintenance, after each use, clean the die heads and the threading tool to remove any debris. Store the kit in the carrying case provided to protect it from damage. Also, keep the batteries charged and stored in a cool, dry place. Don't try to thread pipes larger than 1 - 1/4” as it may damage the tool. And make sure to keep the tool away from water and other liquids to prevent electrical damage.
