Using the DeWalt DCS512B circular saw is straightforward. First, attach the saw blade using the blade change wrench. Make sure it's tightened properly. Then, if you want to adjust the cutting angle, use the tool - free bevel lever to set it between 0 - 50°. When you're ready to cut, hold the saw firmly, press the trigger, and guide it along your rip guide. For better visibility, turn on the on - board LED. When you're done, release the trigger, and the brake will stop the blade quickly. As for maintenance, clean the saw regularly to remove dust and debris. Check the blade for wear and replace it when necessary. Keep the saw in a dry place, and use the built - in rafter hook for storage on the jobsite. Also, remember that the battery is sold separately, so make sure you have a charged DeWalt 12V MAX* battery when you want to use the saw.
