Product Description

Using the Greenlee 625 - 4 - 1/2 hole cutter is a breeze. First, make sure your workpiece is securely fixed. Then, attach the cutter to your drill with the 1/2 - inch shank. The split - point cobalt steel pilot drill will help you start the hole accurately. Just apply a moderate amount of pressure and let the tungsten carbide teeth do the cutting. There's no need to use oil when cutting stainless steel. The flange stop will prevent you from drilling too deep. Once you've made the hole, the slug ejector spring will quickly push out the slug. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, wipe the cutter clean to remove any debris. Check the tungsten carbide teeth for any signs of wear. If the pilot drill gets dull, you can buy a replacement 625 - 002 separately. Store the cutter in a dry place to avoid rust. Remember, this cutter can be used on various materials like stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and more, but always test on a small area first if you're unsure.
