Using the Makita XPH16T is easy. First, make sure the battery is fully charged. Insert the battery into the drill. You can choose between two speeds depending on your task. For lighter jobs, use the lower speed, and for tougher ones, switch to the higher speed. When drilling or driving, hold the drill firmly with the rubberized soft grip. The dual L.E.D. lights will illuminate your work area. After use, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Keep the drill clean and free from dust and debris. Check the all-metal gear housing regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues, stop using the tool immediately. Always follow the safety instructions provided. The battery should be charged using the Rapid Optimum Charger that comes with the kit. Don't overcharge the battery. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ will protect the tool and battery from overloading, over-discharging, and overheating, but it's still important to use the tool properly.
