Product Description

The Milwaukee 2470-20 M12 Cordless PVC Shear is a game-changer in PVC cutting. It slices through 2” PVC in just 3 seconds, offering faster, cleaner, and closer cuts than traditional methods. The super sharp stainless steel blade ensures burr-free cuts, and the offset blade allows you to cut PVC mounted to a stud or close to a wall. Powered by the Milwaukee M12 Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately), it can make over 200 cuts on a single charge. This shear comes with a powerful mechanism, an ultra-sharp blade with a pierce point, a quick return blade for increased productivity, and an all-metal planetary drive. It also features a variable speed trigger for controlled cuts in any weather and an on-board fuel gauge to show remaining run-time. The stainless steel blade and aluminum jaw are resistant to impact, water, and rust.

Using the Milwaukee 2470-20 M12 Cordless PVC Shear is easy. First, make sure you have a fully charged Milwaukee M12 Lithium-Ion battery (not included). Insert the battery into the tool. Then, place the PVC pipe you want to cut between the blade and the jaw of the shear. Squeeze the variable speed trigger to start the cutting process. You can control the speed according to the weather conditions. For repetitive cuts, the quick return blade will save you time. When you're done, remove the battery to save power. Remember, this tool is designed for cutting PVC and PEX pipes. Don't use it for other materials. To keep your shear in good condition, clean it after each use. Wipe off any dirt or debris from the blade and the jaw. Check the blade regularly for sharpness and replace it if it gets dull. Also, store the tool in a dry place to prevent rusting. The on-board blade wrench can be used for blade maintenance. And the fuel gauge will let you know when it's time to recharge the battery.
