Using the Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ 1 SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Dust Extractor Kit is easy. First, make sure the M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT 6.0 Batteries are fully charged and inserted into the tool. Select the right mode (Rotary Hammer, Hammer Only, or Rotary Only) based on your job. When drilling, the AUTOSTOP™ Control will keep you safe, but be careful when working with rebar or hard aggregate. The dust extractor is designed to work with the hammer. Just connect it and it will start collecting dust. After each use, the AUTOPULSE™ Filter Cleaning Mechanism will clean the filter for you. Use the adjustable depth stop and ruler to make accurate adjustments. When the dust box is full, instead of dumping the dust, use a large vacuum or dust extractor through the vacuum port. For maintenance, keep the tool clean. Wipe it down after each use. Check the batteries regularly and store them in a cool, dry place.
