Using this drill/tap is straightforward. First, select the appropriate material you want to work on, like mild steel, copper, brass, or aluminum that's 10 gauge thick. Insert the drill into your power tool using the 1/4-inch quick-change hex shank. Make sure your power tool is set to the right speed. When you start drilling, apply steady pressure. The split point and web thinning on the drill will help it start the hole accurately. After use, clean the drill/tap with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. Don't use it on materials harder than it's designed for as it may damage the drill.
