Using the Greenlee 842FH is quite straightforward. First, choose the appropriate bender head according to your pipe size (1' EMT or 3/4' Rigid/IMC). Place the pipe in the bender head and use the Site - Rite sighting system to set the desired bending angle. The clear markings and good visibility in low light will help you do this accurately. Then, step on the foot pedal and use the handle to bend the pipe. When using, make sure your feet are well - placed on the pedals to take advantage of the extra toe room and get better control. Also, don't force the bender beyond its capacity. For maintenance, keep the bender clean after each use. Wipe off any dirt or debris. If you choose the aluminum construction, be careful not to scratch it too much. Check the bender regularly for any signs of wear, especially the square hook and the pedal area. If there are any issues, refer to the operator's manual or contact Greenlee as it comes with a lifetime limited warranty.
