Product Description

Instruction Sheet. Brochure. Greenlee 645-1 Specs: Needs 645-011 arbor (sold separately). It's a 1' (25.4 mm) quick-change stainless steel carbide-tipped hole cutter. Features: Cuts stainless steel fast and easy. The quick-change arbor lets you swap cutter heads with a simple push and turn, and you can use the same arbor for different sizes. Removable cutter heads range from 5/8' to 3'. A flange stop prevents over-drilling. An ejector spring on sizes above 3/4' makes slug removal a breeze. There's a replaceable cobalt-steel pilot drill with a split-point tip to stop it from wandering. Precision carbide teeth ensure top performance and long-lasting durability. Minimum chuck size is 3/8' (9.5 mm).

Using the Greenlee 645-1 hole cutter is easy. First, make sure you have the 645-011 arbor, which is sold separately. Install the cutter head onto the arbor with a simple push and turn. When you're ready to drill, place the pilot drill on the spot you want to cut and start the drill. The split - point tip will prevent the drill from walking. The flange stop will help you avoid over - drilling. If you're using a size above 3/4', the ejector spring will make it easier to remove the slug. When you need to change the cutter head for a different size, just use the quick - change feature. As for maintenance, keep the cutter clean after each use. Check the carbide teeth regularly for wear. If the pilot drill gets dull, replace it with a new one. And always store the cutter in a dry place to prevent rust.
