Product Description

Using the Greenlee 655 hole cutter kit is straightforward. First, select the appropriate cutter head for the size of hole you need. Attach the cutter head to the quick change arbor by pushing and turning it into place. Make sure the arbor is properly inserted into your drill with a chuck size of at least 3/8 inches. Before you start drilling, insert the pilot drill. This drill has a split - point tip that will keep it from moving around on the surface. Place the cutter on the stainless - steel material where you want to drill. As you start drilling, the flange stop will prevent you from drilling too deep. Once you've drilled the hole, if the cutter size is above 3/4 inches, the ejector spring will help you remove the slug easily. When you're done, use the hex key to disassemble the cutter head if needed. Store all the components in the provided case. For maintenance, keep the cutter heads clean. Wipe off any metal shavings after each use. You can also periodically check the precision carbide teeth for wear. If the pilot drill gets dull, you can replace it. Always store the kit in a dry place to prevent rusting.
