Product Description

The T®-Stripper Wire Stripper line, invented and made at our Sycamore, Illinois facility, is a world - leading brand. This Ideal 45 - 619 wire stripper is designed for ultimate comfort during wire stripping. It comes with a Thumb - Valley™ thumb guide that not only provides comfort but also focuses kinetic energy for faster stripping. The textured non - slip grips reduce hand stress, and the narrow plier nose allows you to hold and twist wires in hard - to - reach spots. It's specifically designed for 10 AWG and 18 AWG solid wires. The shear - cut bolt cutters can quickly slice through bolts. The Pocket - Locket™ mechanism keeps the stripper secure if it slips from your hand, and it's color - coded for easy reference. It includes one wire stripper. Features like 6/32 and 8/32 self - chasing screw - cutting holes, an ergonomic design for maximum comfort, curved handles to reduce wrist fatigue, textured sleeves with extra cushioning, and the ability to strip 8 - 14 AWG solid and 8 - 16 AWG stranded wires make it a great tool. It has a length of 8.75 inches and a width of 5 inches.

Using the Ideal 45 - 619 wire stripper is easy. First, select the appropriate self - chasing screw - cutting hole for the wire size you're working with. Place the wire in the chosen hole and use the tool to strip it. For hard - to - reach areas, use the narrow plier nose to hold and twist the wires. When using the shear - cut bolt cutters, make sure to place the bolt firmly in the cutting area. As for maintenance, keep the tool clean and dry. Wipe it down after each use. Check the grips regularly to ensure they're in good condition. If the tool slips from your hand, the Pocket - Locket™ mechanism will hold it tightly, but still be careful not to drop it often as it could damage the tool. Also, since it's color - coded, refer to the colors to quickly identify the different functions or wire sizes.
