Product Description

This product includes a set of three replacement hawkbill blades, exclusively crafted for Klein's Cable Skinning Folding Utility Knife (Cat. No. 44218). These blades are made of induction-hardened 440A stainless steel, providing excellent durability and strength. The heavy-duty hawkbill blade design is perfect for cable skinning tasks. To replace the blade, simply loosen the captive screw, pull out the old blade straight from the handle, insert the new blade, and then tighten the lock screw. It holds a US patent (US D808,749). The blades have an overall length of 3.25 inches (82.6 mm), with a blade length of 2.5 inches (63.5 mm). Each package comes with 3 blades, and they weigh only 0.5 oz (14.1 g). Say goodbye to dull blades and easily swap them out with these specially designed replacement blades for a seamless cable skinning experience.

Using these Klein replacement blades is a breeze. First, make sure your cable skinning folding utility knife (Cat. No. 44218) is ready. To replace the blade, find the captive screw on the knife and loosen it. Then, pull the old blade straight out from the handle. Take one of the new blades from the 3 - pack and insert it into the slot. Finally, tighten the lock screw to secure the new blade in place. When using the knife, always hold it firmly and make smooth, controlled cuts. As for maintenance, after each use, wipe the blade clean with a dry cloth to remove any debris or moisture. Store the knife in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice the blade getting dull over time, it's time to replace it with another blade from the pack.
