Using the Makita XT288T combo kit is straightforward. First, make sure your 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries are fully charged. You can check the charge level using the L.E.D. indicator on the battery. To use the Hammer Driver - Drill, insert the appropriate drill bit into the chuck and tighten it. Select the desired speed setting based on your task. For lighter jobs, use the lower speed, and for more demanding tasks, switch to the higher speed. When using the Impact Driver, choose the right bit and set the appropriate speed and mode. The Quick - Shift Mode™ is great for general fastening, and the Tightening Mode (T - mode) is ideal when you want to avoid damaging the screw or the workpiece.
Here are some important notes. Only use genuine Makita batteries and chargers to ensure the best performance and safety.
