Using your Milwaukee M18 FUEL 6 - 1/2" Plunge Track Saw is easy. First, charge the M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 battery using the multi - voltage rapid charger. Once charged, insert the battery into the saw. You can adjust the blade speed using the variable speed dial according to the material you're cutting. To make a plunge cut, use the smooth pivoting plunge motion and set the depth using the easy slide depth scale or the micro - adjust depth knob. For bevel cuts, set the bevel at 22.5, 45, or 48 degrees as needed. When using the saw, always make sure the riving knife is in place to prevent kickback. Also, connect a 1 - 7/8' Vac hose for efficient dust collection. After use, store the saw in the PACKOUT case. Keep the saw clean and dry. Regularly check the blade for wear and replace it when necessary. Use the onboard Allen wrench for easy blade changes. Don't overload the saw; the REDLINK PLUS intelligence is there to protect it, but it's still important to use it within its limits.
