Using the IDEAL 34-001 fuse puller is a breeze. First, make sure the power is off to avoid any electrical hazards. Then, simply grip the notched handles firmly. Place the puller around the cartridge-type fuse you want to remove or replace. The 5 - inch length gives you a good reach. When pulling out the fuse, do it steadily. When inserting a new fuse, align it properly and push gently until it's in place. Remember, this puller is for 250V fuses with diameters between 9/32 inch and 1/2 inch, so don't use it for other types of fuses. For maintenance, keep it in a dry place.
