Using the Jet JT9-441305 SJ-5T screw jack is easy. First, make sure the base is on a flat and stable surface. Place the pivoting head under the load you want to lift. If you need to use the turning bar (which you'll need to buy separately), insert it into the bar hole and turn it to raise or lower the load. When using it, always check that the load is within the 5 - ton capacity. Avoid overloading the jack as it can be dangerous and damage the product. After each use, clean the jack to remove any dirt or debris. You can use a dry cloth for this. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting.
