Greenlee 848 1/2-6 Electric PVC Heater/Bender with Motorized PVC Rotation

Using the Greenlee 848 is a breeze. First, preheat the heater for about 10 minutes. Then, open the lid and put your PVC pipe in place. Close the lid and let the motorized rotation do its job until the PVC gets soft and pliable. After that, open the lid, take out the PVC, and form your desired bend. When it comes to power, you can use a 230 VAC, 30 Amp source or a 7000 Watt Generator. The double doors with piano hinges are handy if you have shorter PVC lengths - just open one door. Remember, this machine is heavy, weighing 80 lbs (37 kg), so move it carefully using the sturdy wheels. For maintenance, keep the reflective interior clean to ensure efficient heating. Also, check the Calrod heating element (model 30908) regularly to make sure it's in good working condition. Use the heating chart and timer to get the best results every time you use the heater/bender.
