Greenlee 644 Rope Stand

The Greenlee 644 is an excellent stand designed to efficiently organize and rewind rope. It features a welded steel construction with a washer and spring clip, which securely holds the rope reel on the stand. This stand is compatible with various rope sizes, including 3/16' dia. x 5000' (4.8 mm x 1524 m), 3/8' dia. x 600' (9.5 mm x 182 m), 3/8' dia. x 1,200' (9.5 mm x 365 m), 1/2' dia. x 600' (12.7 mm x 182 m), 9/16' dia. x 300' (14.3 mm x 91 m), 9/16' dia. x 600' (14.3 mm x 182 m), 5/8' dia. x 300' (15.9 mm x 91 m), 5/8' dia. x 600' (15.9 mm x 182 m), and 3/4' dia. x 300' (19.1 mm x 91 m). Note that the ropes are sold separately. In terms of specifications, the reel stand weighs 11 lbs. (5 kg), has a spindle diameter of 1.50' (38 mm), a maximum reel diameter of 17', and a maximum reel width of 16'.

Using the Greenlee 644 stand is easy. First, select the appropriate rope size that fits the stand's specifications. Then, place the rope reel on the stand and use the washer and spring clip to secure it. You can then start organizing and rewinding your rope. When using the stand, make sure the rope is properly aligned on the reel to avoid tangling. Also, don't overload the stand with ropes that exceed its maximum reel diameter and width.
