Product Description

This product comes with a brochure and an operator's manual. It includes one draw stud. The SPEED PUNCH feature is a real time - and money - saver for every hole you punch. It allows for up to three times faster setup and disassembly. The 'No - Thread' punch design gets rid of cross - threading issues. It's available for mild steel conduit sizes from 1/2' to 4'. Ideal for punching conduit sized holes in mild steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and plastic. The maximum capacity for mild steel is 10 gauge (3.0 mm). You can use it with Greenlee Punch Drivers like the LS50L battery - powered driver or hydraulic drivers such as the 10383 QUICK DRAW® FLEX, 34288 QUICK DRAW® STANDARD, and 33786 QUICK DRAW 90®. Made of carbon steel with a black oxide coating, it must be used with other SPEEDPUNCH System components. The size is 3/8' x 3.78' and it belongs to the SPEED PUNCH sub - brand, being a type of knockout punches.

Using this Greenlee draw stud is straightforward. First, make sure you have the right SPEEDPUNCH System components. Select a suitable Greenlee Punch Driver, like the LS50L battery - powered one or a hydraulic driver. When you're ready to punch holes in mild steel, aluminum, fiberglass, or plastic, remember that the maximum capacity for mild steel is 10 gauge. Don't try to punch materials beyond this capacity as it may damage the tool. During setup and disassembly, enjoy the speed advantage of the SPEED PUNCH feature. Keep in mind that the 'No - Thread' punch design reduces the risk of cross - threading. After use, clean the draw stud to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent the carbon steel from rusting. Periodically check the black oxide coating. If it shows signs of wear, it might be a good idea to consult a professional for maintenance.
