Using this Greenlee drill/tap is easy. First, make sure your workpiece is made of mild steel, copper, brass, or aluminum and is 10 gauge thick. Insert the 1/4-inch quick-change hex shank into your drill. Start the drilling process slowly to ensure a straight hole. When you're done, clean the drill/tap with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Keep it in a dry place to prevent rust. Avoid using excessive force as it might damage the drill bit. If you notice the drill isn't cutting as well, it might be time to replace it.
