Using the Greenlee 39276 wire brush is a breeze. First, decide which end to start with. You can use the pulling eye on one end or the smaller twisted eye on the other for different pulling scenarios. Then, insert the brush into the 2.5 - inch duct. Move it back and forth to clean sand, grit, and light obstructions. If there's dried material in the duct, pull the brush through a few times to loosen it before using mandrels or spreader swabs. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, simply clean the bristles with a stiff brush to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. Be careful not to use it in ducts that exceed its maximum rated capacity of 200 lbs to avoid damage.
