Makita, a leader in brushless motor technology and battery innovation, presents the 18V X2 LXT® (36V) Lithium-Ion Brushless 7-1/4 In. circular saw kit, the XSH06PT. This powerful saw is fueled by two 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries, delivering top-notch performance. Its electronically-controlled BL™ Brushless Motor smartly adjusts torque and RPM according to the task at hand. With the Makita 18V X2 system, you can ditch the cord even for tough jobs like cutting sheet and dimensional lumber, which usually required a corded saw. The best part? You can use the same fast-charging 18V batteries across the wide range of Makita 18V LXT® cordless tools. The XSH06PT is loaded with features for efficient cordless cutting. Its electronically-controlled Brushless Motor spins at a full 6,000 RPM for fast cutting, and the Automatic Speed Change™ technology optimizes cutting speed and torque under load. In internal tests, it made up to 600 cross-cuts per charge in 2 x 4 SPF lumber using two fully-charged 5.0 Ah batteries. It has a large 2-11/16 In. cutting capacity at 90 degrees and an electric brake for high productivity. The saw features a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard, along with a die-cast aluminum blade cover and motor housing, offering durability and light weight (only 10.4 lbs. with batteries, sold separately). Other features include a built-in dust blower to keep the cutting line clear and a built-in tether notch (tether sold separately). It's part of Makita's expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries charge quickly, so you can spend more time working and less time waiting for a charge.

Using the Makita XSH06PT circular saw is a breeze. First, make sure to insert two fully-charged 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries into the saw. You can then turn on the saw and start cutting. Adjust the cutting angle between 0° - 56° with positive stops at 22.5°, 45°, and 56° according to your needs. The saw's built-in dust blower will keep the cutting line clear for better accuracy. When you're done cutting, use the electric brake to quickly stop the blade. As for maintenance, keep the saw clean after each use. Wipe off any dust or debris, especially from the motor and blade. Check the blade regularly for any signs of wear and replace it if necessary. Store the saw in a dry place and make sure to charge the batteries properly. Remember to use the tether (sold separately) for safety when working in high places. And always follow the safety instructions in the user manual.
