Using the Milwaukee M18 FORCE LOGIC 15T Crimper is straightforward. First, make sure your battery is fully charged. You can use either the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 or CP2.0 battery included in the kit. Insert the appropriate die, either a P - Die or use the P - to - U Die Adapter for U - Dies. Place the lug or splice you want to crimp in the crimper head. Press the trigger, and the Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM™) will do the rest, ensuring accurate pressure and fast crimping. You'll see a green LED for instant verification of a successful crimp. Before each crimp, the pre - crimp battery check will let you know if you have enough charge. When it comes to maintenance, keep the crimper clean. Its weather - protected electronics are designed to keep out dirt, dust, and moisture, but it's still a good idea to wipe it down after use. Store it in the contractor bag provided when not in use. Also, regularly check the dies for any signs of wear. Remember, when using the crimper with Milwaukee® dies, it can create UL Classified crimps for a wide range of copper sizes and dual - rated lugs and splices. Don't forget to use the ONE - KEY™ Technology to store and manage your crimp data.
