Using this Klein replacement head for your 24 - 1/2 - inch bolt cutter is easy. First, make sure your bolt cutter is turned off and disconnected from any power source if applicable. Then, carefully remove the old head and replace it with this new one. Tighten all the bolts and screws properly to ensure a secure fit. When using it, place the material you want to cut between the jaws and apply pressure. Remember, this head is great for soft, medium, and hard metals, but don't use it to cut cable. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the jaws with a dry cloth to remove any debris. You can also apply a light coat of oil to prevent rust. If you notice the cutting edges aren't as sharp, you can make one adjustment to realign them. Keep the replacement head in a dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
