Product Description

The Ideal 36-314 Hole Cutter Kit is a must - have for electricians. It comes with (2) SmoothStart Pilot Bits that gradually guide the cutter to the material, preventing carbide damage. The kit includes hole cutters in various sizes: 7/8', 1 - 1/8', 1 - 3/8', 1 - 3/4', 2', and 2 - 1/2', suitable for all conduit sizes from 1/2' to 2'. These cutters have precision - ground carbide teeth, enabling fast cutting of clean, round holes. Designed specifically for sheet metal, even stainless steel, it has an over - drill flange to stop penetration beyond the sheet metal. A convenient carrying case is also included, making it easy to transport and organize your tools. There are 6 cutters in the kit, ensuring you have the right tool for the job.

Using the Ideal 36 - 314 Hole Cutter Kit is easy. First, select the appropriate hole cutter for your conduit size. Insert the SmoothStart Pilot Bit into the cutter and then attach the cutter to your drill. Place the pilot bit on the spot where you want to cut and start the drill. The SmoothStart feature will gradually guide the cutter into the material. When cutting, apply steady pressure but don't push too hard. This will help the precision - ground carbide teeth do their job and cut clean, round holes. For sheet metal, especially stainless steel, this kit is perfect. Just make sure the over - drill flange is in place to prevent the cutter from going through the metal. After use, clean the cutters with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Store the kit in the provided carrying case to keep the cutters organized and protected. Avoid dropping or banging the cutters, as this could damage the carbide teeth.
