Using the DeWalt DCW210P1 sander is easy. First, charge the 20V MAX* 5.0Ah battery using the included charger. Once charged, insert the battery into the sander. Before you start sanding, choose the appropriate sandpaper and attach it to the 8 - hole hook - and - loop sanding pad. You can adjust the speed according to your project using the variable - speed dial. Hold the sander with a firm grip on the rubber overmold handle. For dust collection, you can either use the one - handed locking dust bag or connect the sander to a DWV010 or DWV012 dust collector. When sanding, keep the sander moving in a smooth and even motion to avoid uneven sanding. As for maintenance, after each use, empty the dust bag. Check the sanding pad regularly and replace it when it's worn out. Also, make sure to store the sander and battery in a dry place.
