Product Description

The Greenlee 645-4-1/8 hole cutter comes with one 4-1/8' Quick-Change Carbide-Tipped cutter. It's a versatile tool suitable for various materials including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, brass, fiberglass, and plastics. With a hole size of 4-1/8' (104.8 mm) for 3-1/2' conduit, it uses a 645-022 arbor (1/2' shank). It can cut up to 8 ga with its tungsten carbide teeth cutting edge. The 645-002 pilot drill, sized 5/16' x 2-3/4' (8 mm x 69 mm), is sold separately.

Using the Greenlee 645-4-1/8 hole cutter is straightforward. First, make sure you have the right arbor and shank. Then, choose the material you want to cut, like stainless steel or aluminum. Attach the cutter to your drill. Remember, the pilot drill is sold separately, so get one if you don't have it. When you start cutting, apply steady pressure. Don't force it too hard. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the cutter with a brush to remove any debris. Keep it in a dry place to prevent rust. Also, check the tungsten carbide teeth regularly. If they're worn out, it might be time to replace the cutter. And always wear safety goggles when using this tool to protect your eyes.
