Product Description

The Klein RT390 Circuit Analyzer is a must - have tool for electricians and DIY enthusiasts. It comes with a set of essentials: one circuit analyzer, three AAA batteries, an instruction manual, and a convenient pouch. This analyzer features a large color LCD that presents results clearly for wiring faults, AFCI, GFCI, voltage drops, and time - to - trip devices. It can detect common wiring faults in standard, AFCI, and GFCI electrical outlets, including dual (open neutral/open ground) wiring faults. You can also inspect AFCI and GFCI devices, getting details on trip time and trip current. With 12A, 15A, and 20A load testing, it accurately measures percentage voltage drops. To save battery life, it powers off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. The detachable cord makes storage a breeze. Designed for North American 120V AC 3 - wire electrical outlets, it has a safety rating of CAT III 135V. Made of ABS plastic, overmold, and electronic components, it offers 6.6' (2m) drop protection. Overall, it's 1.5' (17.9 cm) long, 2.7' (6.9 cm) wide, 7.1' (3.9 cm) high, and weighs 10.9 oz (311 g).

Using the Klein RT390 Circuit Analyzer is easy. First, make sure it's powered on. Insert the analyzer into a North American 120V AC 3 - wire electrical outlet. The large color LCD will show you clear results about wiring faults, AFCI, GFCI, voltage drops, and more. For load testing, select the 12A, 15A, or 20A current load as needed. When you're done using it, if you don't touch it for 5 minutes, it will power off automatically to save the battery. Keep in mind that this analyzer is only for North American 120V AC 3 - wire electrical outlets. Don't use it in other types of outlets to avoid safety risks. For maintenance, store it in the provided pouch to protect it from dust and scratches. The detachable cord should be stored carefully to prevent damage. If the battery runs out, replace it with three AAA alkaline batteries.
