Using the Makita XCS06T1 is easy. First, charge the 18V LXT® Lithium - Ion 5.0Ah Battery using the included charger. Once charged, insert the battery into the cutter. When you're ready to cut, position the rod or rebar where you want to make the cut and press the slide switch. The Automatic Speed Change™ technology will adjust the speed and torque for the best performance. Remember to wear safety goggles and gloves when operating the tool. Keep the work area clean and free of debris. After use, remove the battery to prevent accidental activation. To maintain the tool, clean the blade regularly with a brush to remove any metal shavings. Check the side handle and other components for tightness. Store the tool in the provided tool case in a dry place.
