Using this Milwaukee pipe threader kit is straightforward. First, charge the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC8.0 Batteries using the M18™ & M12™ Rapid Charger. Then, select the appropriate Milwaukee Compact ALLOY NPT Portable Pipe Threading Forged Aluminum Die Head according to the pipe size. Attach the die head to the M18 FUEL™ Compact Pipe Threader. Use the side grip to start threading without touching the spinning die head. The support arm can be used to keep the tool steady and you don't need a pipe stand. When threading, make sure the AUTOSTOP™ kickback control is working properly. This will protect you from severe kickback. Remember, it can thread up to 1-1/4” pipes of different materials like black iron pipe, stainless steel, and rigid metal conduit. For maintenance, keep the tool clean after each use. Wipe down the die heads and the body of the threader. Check the batteries regularly and store them in a cool, dry place.
