Greenlee 625-002 5/16 x 1-7/8 Pilot Drill for use with 2-1/2 Carbide Tipped Cutters

Using the Greenlee 625-002 pilot drill is easy. First, make sure it's properly attached to the 625-2-1/2 carbide-tipped hole cutter. Then, select the metal you want to drill, like stainless steel or copper. Position the drill on the spot and start drilling. The split - point tip design helps it stay in place, so you don't need a center punch. Remember, the maximum cutting depth is 8 gauge (4 mm), so don't push it too hard to avoid over - drilling. When you're done, clean the drill with a dry cloth to remove any metal shavings. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting.
