Using the DeWalt DCW682B biscuit joiner is quite straightforward. First, make sure you have a compatible 20V MAX battery (sold separately) installed. You can then adjust the depth, height, and bevel easily using the tool - free adjustment features. Select the right biscuit size (#0, #10, or #20, all sold separately) with the depth selection knob. Place your wood material on the joiner and use the retractable anti - slip pins to hold it in place. Press the paddle switch (it works for both left and right - handed people) to start cutting. When you're done, release the trigger, and the electric brake will quickly stop the blade. As for maintenance, keep the tool clean. If you're using the dust collection feature, connect it to DEWALT's AirLock™ system or a standard 35 mm dust extractor (both sold separately) to reduce dust. After each use, check the blade and wrenches for any signs of wear or damage. Store the tool in a dry place to avoid rusting. Also, always follow safety instructions provided in the user manual.
