Product Description

The Greenlee 06044G Gator® Quad Point Crimp Head is UL 1976 listed. It's suitable for copper connectors and wires from 8 AWG to 750 kcmil (MCM), and aluminum connectors and wires from 8 AWG to 500 kcmil (MCM). This crimp head comes with a range of great features. Its interchangeable heads let you customize the tool to meet your specific needs. You can cut wire, crimp lugs, and punch holes all with one tool. The inline design allows for easy one - handed operation, and the 360° head rotation gives you excellent maneuverability in tight spaces. Built - in sensors and LED indicators keep an eye on tool performance, battery life, and tell you when the tool needs servicing. It's a 3 - in - 1 tool that saves cargo space and stops you from making constant trips to the truck to find different tools. With a 6 - ton crimping force (53kN), an overall length of 9 inches, and weighing 5.8 lb (2.6 kg), it's a reliable and efficient choice for electrical work.

Using the Greenlee 06044G Quad Point Crimp Head is quite straightforward. First, select the appropriate interchangeable head according to your task, whether it's cutting wire, crimping lugs, or punching holes. Then, place the connector and wire in the correct position for crimping. Make sure the tool is properly charged or powered before starting. When using it in tight spaces, take advantage of the 360° head rotation to get the best angle. As for maintenance, regularly check the built - in sensors and LED indicators. If they show that the battery life is low, recharge it promptly. When the indicators suggest the tool needs service, don't ignore it. Clean the tool after each use to prevent dirt and debris from affecting its performance. Store it in a dry place to avoid rusting and damage. Always follow safety guidelines during operation to ensure your own safety and the longevity of the tool.
