Using the Klein NCVT - 4IR is easy. To check AC voltage, just bring the tester close to the object you want to test. The visual and audible indicators will let you know if there's voltage. For temperature measurement, switch to the IR thermometer mode. You can choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Use the laser pointer to aim at the spot you want to measure. Make sure to keep the 4:1 distance - to - spot ratio. When not in use, store the tester in a dry place. Replace the AAA batteries when the power is low. Don't expose the tester to extreme temperatures or moisture. This will help keep it working well for a long time.
