Using the Milwaukee 2912 - 20 M18 FUEL™ 1 SDS Plus Rotary Hammer is easy. First, make sure the M18™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 Battery is fully charged and properly inserted into the tool. Select the appropriate mode (rotary hammer, hammer only, or rotary only) according to your task. When drilling, hold the tool firmly and start slowly to get a good position. If you're drilling in rebar or hard aggregate, the AUTOSTOP™ Kickback Control will help keep you safe. Just be aware that if the tool gets bound up, it will stop rotating to prevent accidents. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the tool with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Check the bits regularly and replace them if they're worn out. Store the tool in a dry place and charge the battery as needed. Don't expose the tool to extreme temperatures or moisture, as this can damage the battery and the internal components.
