The XPH14Z is at the forefront of the LXT driver - drill series. It has a more compact and comfortable design, being 14% shorter than the previous model. Powered by a Makita brushless motor, it offers longer run time, more power and speed, and a longer lifespan. With a 2 - speed transmission (0 - 550 & 0 - 2,100 RPM), it can handle various drilling and fastening jobs. It also features an all - metal ½” self - ratcheting chuck for better bit - gripping, LED lights, and a rubberized soft grip for comfort. The kit also includes an 18V LXT® Brushless 4 - Speed Impact Driver (XDT20) that sets new performance benchmarks. It offers 4 - speed power selections (0 - 1,100/ 0 - 2,100/ 0 - 3,200/ 0 - 3,600 RPM & 0 - 1,100/ 0 - 2,600/ 0 - 3,600/ 0 - 3,800 IPM) for precise fastening control.
