Using your Milwaukee M18 FUEL Barrel Grip Jig Saw is easy. First, make sure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Choose the right T - shank blade for the material you're cutting. You can change the blade quickly without tools. Set the bevel angle using the hex key on - board. You have four detent positions at 0°, 15°, 30°, and 45° for accurate bevel cuts. Use the ambidextrous switches to turn the saw on. You can select from six speed settings from 0 - 3500 strokes per minute. If you want, turn on the auto - control start feature, which starts the saw slowly and then ramps up to full speed when the blade hits the material. The on/off blower helps keep the cut line clear of debris, and you can turn it off if you're using dust extraction. The LED light will illuminate the cut line. When you're done, turn off the saw and remove the battery. For maintenance, keep the saw clean. Wipe it down after each use to remove dust and debris. Check the blade regularly for wear and replace it when necessary. Store the saw in a dry place, and make sure to charge the battery properly to extend its lifespan.
