Using your Makita 18V X2 LXT (36V) Brushless Cordless Recipro Saw Kit is easy. First, insert the 18V LXT® Lithium - Ion 5.0Ah batteries into the saw. Then, use the 'tool - less' blade change system to attach the saw blade. To start, simply press the large two - finger variable speed trigger. You can choose between low and high speeds depending on your task. When using the saw, keep the L.E.D. light on to clearly see the cutting line. After use, make sure to turn off the saw and remove the blade. Store the saw in the provided soft case. For maintenance, regularly clean the saw to remove dust and debris. Keep the battery charged, and use the 18V LXT® Lithium - Ion Dual Port Charger to charge the batteries quickly. Also, check the blade regularly for wear and replace it when necessary. Be careful when using the saw in harsh conditions, as the Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) helps but doesn't make it completely immune to dust and water.
