Then, choose the appropriate driver - battery - powered, hydraulic, ratchet, or manual. If you're using a battery - powered, hydraulic, or ratchet driver, you don't need to buy a separate draw stud as it's part of the driver kit. When punching, place the material (like mild steel, aluminum, fiberglass, or plastic) firmly and start the punching process. Remember, this unit can handle mild steel up to 10 gauge (3.5 mm). As for maintenance, keep the punch, die, and other parts clean after each use. Check for any signs of wear and tear regularly. Replace the replacement bushing (3037AV) when it shows excessive wear. And make sure to store the unit in a dry place to prevent rusting.
