Using the Greenlee 712A1000 bushings is easy. First, make sure you have pre - punched 1 - 11/32' holes using the 710 Metal Stud Punch. Then, simply insert the bushings into these holes. When pulling wires through, the bushings will protect the wire insulation from getting damaged by sharp edges and make the whole process smooth. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place to prevent rust. Avoid using excessive force when inserting the bushings to prevent breakage. If you notice any signs of wear and tear, it's time to replace them.
