Using the Jet JT9 - 414457 HBS - 56S Horizontal Mitering Bandsaw is easy. First, make sure the power is off and the saw is unplugged. Place your workpiece firmly in the vise and adjust the material stop to the desired length. You can then set the mitering head to the angle you need, anywhere from 0° to 60°. Once everything is set, plug in the saw and turn it on. Use the fully adjustable hydraulic downfeed system to control the cutting speed. When you're done cutting, turn off the saw and unplug it. As for maintenance, regularly check the blade for wear and tear. Replace it when it gets dull. Keep the oil bath in the blade drive filled with oil to ensure smooth operation. Also, clean the saw after each use to remove any debris. Remember, the HVBS - 56S is certified for safety, but always follow the safety guidelines provided to avoid accidents.
