Using the DeWalt DCS573B circular saw is straightforward. First, make sure you have a compatible 20V MAX* or FLEXVOLT® battery installed. To start cutting, hold the saw firmly, line up the blade with your cutting mark, and gently squeeze the trigger. The saw will start cutting quickly thanks to its powerful motor. When you're done cutting, release the trigger, and the electric brake will stop the blade. Be careful when changing the blade. Use the included blade change wrench to loosen and tighten the blade. Always wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying debris. To keep your saw in good condition, clean it regularly, especially after using it in dusty environments. You can use a dry cloth to wipe it down. If you want to reduce dust, connect the optional dust port to a dust extractor. Also, check the battery regularly and charge it as needed.
