Using the Klein 56027 Telescoping Magnetic LED Pickup Tool is a breeze. First, extend the telescoping arm as far as you need to reach the dropped steel tool or part. If there are obstacles in the way, bend the gooseneck end to navigate around them. When it's dark, turn on the LED light by using the included AAA alkaline batteries. The powerful magnetic head will attract the item, and you can pull it back. For storage, just retract the arm and use the pocket clip to attach it to your pocket or tool belt. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures outside the -20°F to 120°F range. If the LED light stops working, check the batteries and replace them if needed.
