Lasers are often used at the early construction stages, and measurement needs vary according to application requirements. The Makita 12V max CXT® Self-Leveling 360° 3-Plane Red Laser (SK700DNAJ) offers a cordless solution for job site layout. With three 360° laser planes, it provides 6 cross-point reference positions for leveling, aligning, plumbing, and squaring. The self-leveling feature can correct slopes up to 4 degrees, allowing operation on uneven surfaces. The laser has a red line visibility range of up to 82 feet and can be detected up to 230 feet with a Makita Laser Detector (sold separately). It has a sharp laser line with +/-1/16” accuracy at 33 feet, offering best-in-class precision. For better efficiency, self-leveling line stability is achieved in just 3 seconds. The 360° rotating base enables fine vertical line adjustment and a plumb point position for greater accuracy. The laser is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance, and its highly protected laser windows are recessed for durability. 12V max CXT® Power Tools deliver top performance in a compact size. Their ergonomic design ensures precise handling and better balance. The CXT® System offers the most compact solution with excellent comfort and capacity. This kit includes a 12V max CXT® Self-Leveling 360° 3-Plane Red Laser (SK700D), a 12V max CXT® Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah Battery (BL1021B), a 12V max CXT® Lithium-Ion Charger (DC10WD), an Interlocking Case, Large (197212-5), a Magnetic Red Target Plate (LE00785638), an Inner Tray for SK700 laser kits (8351P4-9), and a Magnetic L-Adapter.

Using the Makita 12V max CXT Self-Leveling 360° 3-Plane Red Laser is easy. First, charge the included 12V max CXT® Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah battery with the charger. Then, place the laser on a stable surface. Turn it on using the simplified two - button user interface. The laser will self - level within 3 seconds if the slope is within 4 degrees. You can adjust the vertical line using the 360° rotating base or the eccentric base. For long - distance measurements, attach the Makita Laser Detector (sold separately). When using it, keep it away from extreme heat or cold. After use, turn it off and store it in the interlocking case. Make sure to clean the laser windows gently with a soft cloth. The battery has a protection circuit, but avoid overcharging. Also, check the battery regularly for any signs of damage. If the laser shows any abnormal behavior, stop using it and contact Makita support.
