Using the Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 6-Inch Pruning Saw is easy. First, make sure you have a fully charged 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Battery (not included). Insert the battery into the saw. Then, hold the saw with the soft grip handle and start the motor. You can use it for light limb cutting and pruning. When using the saw, keep the retractable guard in place to protect yourself from the saw chain. Be careful not to overload the saw, as this can cause it to overheat or damage the battery. After use, turn off the saw and remove the battery. Clean the saw regularly to keep it in good condition. Use a brush to remove any dust or debris from the saw.
