Using this Makita 18V LXT combo kit is easy. First, charge the 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries using the included charger. It takes about 45 minutes. Once charged, insert the battery into the tool you want to use, either the hammer driver-drill or the impact driver. For the hammer driver-drill, select the right speed (0 - 550 or 0 - 2,100 RPM) depending on your task. The all-metal ½” self-ratcheting chuck makes it easy to hold the drill bit firmly. When using the impact driver, choose the appropriate 4-speed power selection for precise fastening. The Assist Mode and Tightening Modes can help you avoid common problems. The blower is also simple to use; just insert the battery and start cleaning up debris. As for the blower, it's a great addition for cleaning up debris on the job site.
